Caroline teaches creative activities to children aged 5+ years at Walford Mill Crafts. Her 2 hour workshops encourage the children to design and construct a number of different items.

In recent activities a group of 5 to 8 year olds created vibrant Venetian marks inspired by the Venice Carnival and Chinese lanterns for the Chinese new year made from bonded natural silk fibres. Children learn to think outside the box and combine materials that they wouldn't normally link together.

As the Education Officer at Walford Mill Crafts Caroline is also involved in larger outreach programmes with schools and community groups as well as MasterCraft a regular workshop programme developed by Caroline specifically for the older generation.
